Nick Lachey and Vanessa Manillo are getting dangerously close to their wedding date, though neither will share very many details.
Though Lachey’s ex Jessica Simpson has come out recently to say that her wedding date is right around the corner, Lachey has swooped in to one up her in the race to the altar.
In a statement released by Lachey less than a week after Simpson’s last blurb, he explains,
As for if he will be shedding 20 lbs. like Simpson did to prepare for the big day, Lachey adds,
“I’m just gonna let myself go. She loves me for who I am, skinny or fat. No. Of course. Everyone likes to get in shape and try to look good on their wedding day, at least. So, I’ll have to start hitting the treadmill regiment to get ready for it. ”
Wouldn’t it be funny if they held their weddings on the same day? What must their fiance’s think?
