Well this explains everything!
The shocking and mysterious sudden split of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver was pretty puzzling and left everyone wondering why, but now Arnold has come forward with the reason.
Turns out the former California Governor was fraternizing with the help, an by fraternizing we mean fathering a child over a decade ago!
According to the LA Times, the staffer retired in January after working for the family for 20 years. Schwarzenegger just recently came clean to his wife about the events an that lead to the separation.
In a statement to the newspaper, Schwarzenegger said;
“After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago. I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.”
Pretty crazy that he was able to keep it a secret for ten years while the staffer was still working for them!
It comes with no suprise that former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has fathered a child from household staff. He isn’t the first nor the last politician to do so. Remember John McCain fits the same catagory and a more shocking predecessor, the 1964, the also married former Governor, Paul B. Johnson Jr, of Mississippi fathered a child with his household staff during the Civil Rights movement and she was black.
Almost typical of powerful men (Governors, Politicians and Demi-Royalty) to take advantage of those they see as weak minded and of low society, such as the household staff (better known as house cleaners). This abuse of power goes far back in our American history.
So, he fathered this kid a decade ago and it has just now gone public? Can’t believe this wasn’t dug up by his opponents during his election for governor!
