Coachella-maniacs are either going to love this idea or hate this idea.
The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival will be expanding to two consecutive weekends next April, and you’re going to have to buy your tickets 10 months before the lineup is even announced!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, festival organizers have decided that due to the large amount of people who are unable to get tickets to the event they will hold two Coachellas, one the weekend of April 13-15 and one April 20-22. They will try and duplicate identical lineups for the consecutive weekend, so that fans will be getting the same show.
If you don’t think this is a horrible idea yet, THR is also reporting that three day passes for Coachella 2012 will go on sale on JUNE 10! They will likely sell out pretty quck, and definitely before any of the rumored lineups even appear online. Three-day passes cost at $269 plus fees.
So who’s sitting out of Coachella next year?
