Justin Timberlake went to school like the rest of us, and got in trouble with is teachers with the rest of us.
Timberlake is starring along side his ex girlfriend Cameron Diaz in ‘Bad Teacher,’ and during promotional duties for the film at this year’s MTV Movie Awards, JT admitted that he had a seventh grade teacher who tried to discourage him from achieving his dreams.
Says Timberlake, “She told me I should have more realistic goals than being a songwriter, because my schoolwork was suffering. You can quote me on this directly to her: ‘Suck it!'”
To make sure he didn’t leave teachers hangin’ on the night, Timberlake explained that they need to be paid more. “We got to find a way to pay teachers more. They have such a huge responsibility and they’re under-appreciated and underpaid. They’re like surrogate parents away from home. The teachers that we learned the most from were the ones who taught us life lessons.”
