Cars 2 became Pixar’s twelfth #1 film this past weekend when it smashed the competition and brought in $68 million dollars at the box office.
Even though Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, and Jason Segel opened up with a pretty impressive $31 million for the second place spot, it was the animated sequel that is atop of the movie mountain this week.
In third, was ‘Green Lantern’ which extinguished to the tune of $18.5 million in it’s second week.
