American Idol’s 9th place finalist has officially inked her record deal.
The favorite to many, Pia Toscano has signed a deal with Interscope record and Idol mentor Jimmy Iovine.
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Toscano will release her first single, “This Time,” on July 12.
She will also be performing the song on the American Idol Love! Tour, which kicks off tonight in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Toscano has made headlines since her exit from Idol for a relationship with ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Mark Ballas.
