Nicki Minaj was performing on Good Morning America this morning and suffered a little wardrobe malfunction.
Minaj’s breif nip slip immediately hit the internet and has caused for “Nicki Minaj’s” to trend on twitter. You can fill in the blank.
The Parents Television Counsel is pissed, and released a statement demanding that shows like GMA need to adopt the five second delay to avoid instances like this.
“For the umpteenth time in recent memory a morning news show has included inappropriate content for children and families.”
“Instead of asking for forgiveness, they need to stop apologizing and implement the five second delay that so many Americans have been calling for.”
In Good Morning America’s defense, a rep for the ABC show has come forward telling TMZ they do use a five second delay, this was just something that slipped (pun intended) through the cracks.
“Although we had a five-second delay in place for the Nicki Minaj concert on GMA , the live East Coast feed of the concert regrettably included certain fleeting images of the performer that were taken out of later feeds of the broadcast in other time zones.”
The segment was edited in time for the West Coast feed, but the damage had been done. It was a very brief instance on television, but as they say, take a picture, it will last longer. Forever in this instance.
