In wake of the tragic death of Amy Winehouse, her father Mitch is ready to officially launch The Amy Winehouse Foundation.
Mitch Winehouse hit a setback last month, when someone else beat him to registering the foundation. Winehouse was forced to give back all of the donations he had already received, but in the end he has prevailed.
Winehouse won back the rights to the foundation’s name last week and now now preparing for it’s unveiling.
Writing to his Twitter.com page, Mitch Winehouse writes: “The launch of Amy’s foundation 14th September. We will turn our grief into positive action.”
The Amy Winehouse Foundation hopes to open a clinic to help which he hopes will help young Brits struggling with drug and alcohol addictions.
