Two wedding dresses worn by Elizabeth Taylor will be auctioned off this year as part of an auction of the late actresses things.
The gowns, from her two trips down the aisle with Richard Burton first in 1964, and then again in 1975, will be just two pieces of more than 400 dresses, accessories, and handbags that will go up for sale at Christie’s Auctions this December.
A rep for Christie’s says in a statement: “Many of the pieces in this lifetime collection were couture, custom made for Ms Taylor by designers who became her close friends.”
Elizabeth Taylor passed away last March at the age of 79.
The sale will take place on December 14th-15th following an auction of Taylor’s jewelry.
