The Los Angeles Ultimate Women’s EXPO was held on October 1st at the Los Angeles Convention Center downtown, and some pretty powerful female celebs were on hand to speak to the crowd and sign copies of their books for those in attendance.
Jane Fonda, Meredith Baxter, Florence Henderson, and Jackie Collins all took to the stage to speak to those who attended the two day convention, as well as heading out into the crowd to pose for photos with fans, and sign autographs.
Meredirh Baxter took some time to stop by the Heifer International/ERGE DESIGNS booth, and even took the time to give ERGE DESIGNS CEO David Keeton a couple suggestions, and scketches as to how she would design a tee shirt for Heifer International by ERGE DESIGNS.
Heifer International is a non-profit organization who’s mission is to end world hunger through unimaginable blessings.
Ever since the founder, Dan West, came up with the phrase “not a cup, but a cow,” Heifer’s approach to providing global assistance to struggling countries has been characterized by long-term development, rather than short-term relief.
After immediate needs for food, shelter, fresh water, clothing and other necessities have been met, Heifer works within communities to empower disaster survivors with the economic means – such as livestock, training and other resources – to rebuild their families, their neighborhoods and their hope for sustainable futures.
About ERGE Designs:
