Amy Winehouse is set to release a new album from beyond the grave.
Winehouse died on July 27, and Island records is set to release Lioness: Hidden Treasures, which will feature 12 tracks of previously unreleased and rare recordings.
Winehouse’s dad, Mitch, told Britain’s ‘The Sun’ news paper,” It wasn’t until I sat down with the rest of the family and listened to this album that I fully appreciated the breadth of Amy’s talent. From jazz standards to hip-hop songs, it really took my breath away. I never realized what a true genius she was.”
