Bob Barker spent every day urging ‘The Price is Right’ watchers to have their pets spayed and neutered. Now he’s coming to the rescue of wildlife.
Barker heard that three elephants, Toka, Thika and Iringa, were having a rough time dealing with the cold weather at the Toronto Zoo, and has payed an unspecified amount of money to transport them to an animal sanctuary in California.
The three African elephants will live in a sanctuary with plenty of range to roam around, lakes to bathe in, and heated barns with therapeutic jacuzzis.
Barker explained in a statement, “I want them to have the most efficient and humane transition to their new home. I said this would not cost the city a penny and I want to assure them it won’t.”
