Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine has announced the launch of his new record label, and you’ll be shocked at who his first artist is.
Levine, who also is a coach on ‘The Voice’ announced 222 Records on Thursday and his first artist will be ‘Glee’s’ Matthew Morrison.
Levine said in a statement, “Starting my own label has been a long-time goal of mine and I am thrilled to be at the point in my career where it is finally happening.
“I am excited for everyone to hear Matthew’s forthcoming album. Great things are in store for him with this release.”
As for Will Scheuster, coach of the McKinley High Glee Club, he too is equally excited to work with Levine.
Morrison adds, “I am excited to be working on my next album with such an incredible singer, writer and producer as Adam Levine. Adam and I share the same vision as we begin working on my record together.”
