A publicist for Houston has revealed to multiple media outlets that Saturday’s private family service at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey will be made available for television and internet streaming.
The private ceremony will be attended by an estimated 1,500 people, including celebrity friends Chaka Khan, BeBe Winans, Diane Warren, l Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid, Brandy and her brother Ray J, who was also reportedly dating Houston when she died last Saturday.
The late star’s godmother, Aretha Franklin, has been asked to sing at the service and pastor Marvin Winans will deliver the eulogy.
