Gabriel Aubry, who is the father of Halle Berry’s daughter, Nahla, is asking a court to demand that the actress pay him at least $15,000 a month for a new house as part of their bitter custody battle over their young daughter.
Berry and Aubry have been embattled in a nasty custody war over Nahla since their split in 2010.
In new legal documents filed in a Los Angeles court listing his child support needs , Aubry is expecting Berry to give him between $15,000 and $20,000 a month to rent a home which lives up to the comfortable surroundings little Nahla has become accustomed to.
In addition, he’s also seeking a large sum of money for the tot’s clothing requirements and is asking for extra funds to pay for a trip to Canada to visit his family.
Berry recently asked the judge to allow her to move the child to France, home of current boyfriend Oliver Martinez, in fear of the safety of her family after an incident with a stalker.
The hearing, originally scheduled for Monday, has been pushed back to April 9th.
