Amanda Bynes spent the night in jail last Thursday night after a DUI arrest which stemmed from her swiping the side of a cop car in Hollywood, but her dad is quick to defend his daughter, claiming she doesn’t even drink.
Rick Bynes said in a statement to People.com, “She was not drunk. I was told that she blew a zero on the Breathalyzer. She didn’t have a single drink that night. My daughter doesn’t drink.”
Mr. Bynes is even blaming the officer for the incident which lead to his daughter’s arrest, claiming he pulled out in front of Amanda’s car “as she was turning at the West Hollywood intersection, where she was cited.”
You’d think being sober and blowing a zero would not result in spending the entire night in jail.
