This could be bad, bad, bad for Lindsay Lohan.
Though a woman at a night club filing a police report that Lindsay Lohan assaulted her is always a possibility and could be someone seeking 15 minutes of fame, there has been an interesting twist in this story.
Marisa Dugas claims that she was assaulted by Lohan during a night out at The Standard in Los Angeles, to which Lohan claims she was not even at the club, and rather at home watching TV the night of the alleged altercation. Lohan’s legal team has ordered the woman to stop the claims before they take matters into their own hands, and the story has quieted down a bit…until now.
Authorities now have in their possession security footage from The Standard which shows that Lohan was in the building that night.
Law enforcement sources explain in a statement, “Investigators obtained the surveillance video from the Smoke & Mirrors nightclub at The Standard Hotel and it clearly shows that Lindsay was there on the night of the alleged assault. The investigation is still ongoing and follow-up interviews will now be conducted as necessary. Of course, investigators want to interview Lindsay about the incident, but she hasn’t been interviewed yet, nor is she under any obligation to do so. ”
So she was there. Whether or not any assault happened is still very questionable, but why lie? Admitting she was there and claiming nothing happened would have looked WAY better in the end, right?
A conscience is like a baby. It has to go to sleep before you can.
