Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, who announced Tuesday that he had signed a deal with Wizard World to develop his own comic book super hero, was introduced to legendary comic book writer Stan Lee at the premiere of ‘With Great Power: The Stan Lee Story,’ in Pasadena, California.
Sorrentino and Wizard World have teamed up to develop the character and series based on himself and his family, with scheduled appearances to promote the characters at all Wizard World Comic Cons across the US.
“MPS Entertainment and I are thrilled and excited about our new business relationship with Wizard World. I grew up reading comic books and now I get a chance to star in my own. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we are working on,” said Sorrentino in the official press release.
While appearing on the red carpet at the premiere, the guest of honor, Lee, along with daughter J.C. stopped to meet and have a quick chat with Mike Sorrentino, who is a big admirer of Stan Lee’s body of work. Check out the video of the meeting below.
‘With Great Power: The Stan Lee Story’ is a feature length documentary on the life and creations of Stan Lee. Stan Lee is co-creator of Spider-man, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Hulk, Iron Man, Dare Devil and over 500 other legendary characters that have been plastered on movie screens and in retail stores around the planet.
