It didn’t work out for Nicole Scherzinger as a judge on the new US version of ‘The X Factor,’ however there may be a second chance.
Kelly Rowland is scheduled to exit the U.K. version of “The X Factor,” which will leave an empty seat on the judges panel. According to the show’s longtime star Louis Walsh, Scherzinger as well as Katy Perry are among the names being discussed as a replacement.
Walsh revealed to the Irish Herald newspaper, “I’ve worked with Nicole and Katy before and I would love to work with them again, they were fantastic.”
In total, there are five big celebrity names being considered to fill Rowland’s chair, including Current “X Factor” Australia judge Melanie Brown, Anastacia, and ex-judge Sharon Osbourne are also in the running with Scherzinger and Perry.
Walsh added of these names, “Mel B knows the format so well… Anastacia has sold millions of records and is a big star and I would give anything to work with Sharon again.”
