As if Miley Cyrus’ Disney image wasn’t out the window already, long gone are the days of Hannah Montana after a recent chat with talk show host Amanda de Cadenet.
The 19-year-old star joined “The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet” on Lifetime on Monday and the conversation was largely based around Cyrus’ “sexy” image and turned to sex itself.
Miley has come under fire for a revealing outfit she wore to the Billboard Music Awards, but the star claims she isn’t “trying” to be sexy, and that she’s just being herself.
“If people find you sexy, take it as a compliment, it’s just who I am. Thank you for thinking I’m sexy.”
As for the subject itself, Miley told the host;
“I was talking about this at dinner last night,” she says; “The girls that really base how much they’re worth on the sexual favors they can do for somebody – that makes me really sad. Because sex is actually really beautiful. It’s the only way we create, and it’s the only way the world keeps going.”
The actress even thinks it’s now up to parents to talk to their kids about how “magical” and “cool” sex really is. Especially since it’s everywhere and there’s no avoiding it with television shows and movies these days.
“Kids have a TV, so they know what sex is,” she says. “So educate them and let them know… it’s a beautiful thing, and it is magic, and it’s when you connect with somebody.”
We have a feeling Miley’s father, Billy Ray Cyrus, of the Parents Television Counsel, would have different views on a subject like this!
