Former American Idol star Adam Lambert’s new album has topped the US charts after it’s first week.
Lambert’s “Trespassing” has reached the top spot on the Billboard 200 countdown after selling 77,000 in its first week.
This takes the number one spot away from another Idol alum, Carrie Underwood, who’s latest album “Blown Away,” debuted at number one last week.
Respectively, these albums are the sixth and seventh releases from Idol alums to reach number one.
