Amanda Bynes is defending Amanda Bynes.
In addition to an alleged DUI and being caught backing up over a curb just a week later after leaving a Hollywood nightclub, Bynes was involved in an alleged hit and run.
A report on TMZ claims that Bynes’ vehicle “slammed into” another vehicle on the freeway in San Fernando Valley, California on April 10, before she fled the scene.
Bynes took to Twitter feed late on Sunday night to deny all of the gossip being written about her.
She writes, “I can’t help but laugh at all of you writing fake stories about me. I was not in any hit and runs. I don’t drink so the DUI is false.”
Bynes has a court date set for April 6th for the DUI, for which she has yet to be charged, but the D.A. has reported that charges could be filed in the days leading up to the court appearance.
Bynes was arrested at the scene after swiping a cop car, and held overnight before being released on $5000 bail.
The truth shall set her free (or lock her up) next week!
