It’s been a bumpy few weeks for Justin Bieber.
He’s had an altercation with paparazzi here in Los Angeles, caused a teen riot at a secret free concert in Norway that sent fourteen to the hospital, and blacked out during a performance in Paris on Thursday.
Bieber has assured the fans he’s “fine,” after running into a pane of glass backstage halfway through the show in Paris, hurting his head.
Bieber returned to the stage to finish his show, but it’s reported that he blacked out for about 15 seconds in his dressing room following the performance.
After the concert he took to his Twitter to write, “thanks for the love… im fine. just smacked my head and needed some water. all good. im Canadian. we are tough. its all good. just gotta take it easy the rest of the night.”
Bieber told celebrity website TMZ, “I was performing and I was going offstage… and there’s a glass wall behind me but there’s a railing behind the glass and so I went to reach for the railing and I hit my head on the glass… and then after that it really hurt and I felt a little light-headed, but my adrenalin pushed me through it and I performed the last song.
“After that I went offstage and I immediately felt really weak and then I was walking down the stairs and I passed out for, like, 15 seconds and I was unresponsive… I opened my eyes and I saw the doctor and he told me I had, like, a concussion.
“I feel good. I have a little bit of a headache.”
Bieber is performing on a small promotional tour for his new album, Blieve, which is to be released on June 19th
