Fans of the popular 90’s TV series ‘Baywatch’ can rejoice! David Hasselhoff is talking about the film that is currently in the works.
The Hoff has been very vocal about a ‘Baywatch’ film coming to life since the show ended it’s 12 year run back in 2001, and finally it’s going to happen.
He revealed last year that he was bidding for the rights to the film, and would portray a father figure in the script.
The bad news is, Hasselhoff will only appear in the film as a cameo role playing himself, rather than revisiting his role as lifeguard Mitch Buchannon.
Hoff tells British newspaper the Daily Express, “I’ve just met the guy writing the film. I’m going to play myself… We’re trying to make it a very cool updated version.”
