You knew it would happen during these games, that Michael Phelps would get three medals of any color making him the most decorated Olympian ever with 19 medals.
Well spoiler alert! It’s happened!
Phelps’ 2012 Olympic campaign got off to a rocky start, with a fourth place finish, followed by two silver medals, all leading up to the gold in the 4X200 Mens freestyle relay.
Phelps anchored the US team who beat their competition by more than a body length, earning him his 15th gold medal, and his 19th Olympic medal overall.
Congrats to Michael Phelps on the great feat, and the rest of Team USA for representing our country in the 2012 London games, and currently sharing the top spot of the medal count.
