Rihanna has taken aim at TV host Joan Rivers after a comment made regarding the singers candid interview with Oprah Winfrey.
During a chat with Oprah on her OWN network earlier this month, Rihanna admitted that she still loves her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, who was charged with assault after an altercation in 2009.
The comment wasn’t received well by Rivers, who took to her Twitter page to say to her fans, “Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it’s MY turn to slap her.”
Rihanna hit back almost immediately, Tweeting, “Joan_Rivers wow u really do get slow when you’re old huh?”, before adding, “Slap on some diapers.”
Rivers tried to make amends with a semi-apology, writing back, “Honey, Rihanna, everyone knows: If he hit you once, he’ll hit you again. Read the statistics. PS – Love to have you on Fashion Police!”
