Pink is the latest star to come forward and reveal that ‘American Idol’ wanted her to join the judges panel, and the singer is claiming that she also turned down an offer from ‘The X Factor’ as well.
Pink reveals that she has made a vow to herself to never appear on any reality programs, a pledge that includes singing competitions such as ‘Idol,’ and ‘The X Factor.’
The singer tells Entertainment Weekly, “It’s not gonna happen… I’ve been asked to do American Idol and X Factor… It’s just not for me.”
Recent reports claimed that Katy Perry was offered $20 million to judge the upcoming season of ‘Idol,’ but turned down due to her schedule, and because it wasn’t something she was interested in doing. Nicki Minaj is reportedly close to 100%, or 100% in for ‘Idol,’ depending who you talk to, and Mariah Carey is officially signed on to judge the upcoming season of the talent competition, with a deal that will earn her $18 million dollars.
The upcoming season of ‘The X Factor,’ has added Britney Spears, and Demi Lovato.
