Miley Cyrus is now a suspect in a criminal battery case according to a new report online, allegedly taking place Saturday night inside a Hollywood nightclub.
According to TMZ, the alleged victim filed a police report on Sunday morning with the LAPD, stating that he and his friends were involved in an altercation with Miley and Liam Hemsworth inside Beacher’s Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel.
The victim claims that after accidentally bumping into Liam’s chair, some words were exchanged and an argument quickly escalated. After Hemsworth allegedly got in the man’s face, Cyrus jumped in the middle to break it up, but not before striking the man in the face as she pushed him away. No visual injuries were reported.
A witness to the altercation told TMZ that the argument happened, but Cyrus never threw a punch.
How the under-21 star was allowed in in the first place is likely the worst part of the story for the venue, who will have to answer that question after the dust settles.
