Bosses at Lucky Magazine have been forced to apologize after disappointing Britney Spears fans after an “unflattering” cover of the ‘X-Factor’ judge appeared on their latest cover.
Spears covers the December issue of the mag in a poka dot dress, and an obvious blonde wig. The cover image itself set fire to the Internet with readers claiming that the magazine editors covered up Britney’s natural beauty and digitally altering the shot.
After reading some of the Tiwtter backlash, editors at Lucky Mag have spoken out about the controversy, Tweeting, “Thank you all for sharing your thoughts on our cover! As always, we will share with our team and we’re sorry to have let some of you down.”
