Rapper 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Jr’s business relationship is no more.
50 and Mayweather launched TMT Promotions back in july to help arrange future fights for Floyd following a three month prison sentence served for domestic battery.
However, it seems things between the two may have gone south after Mayweather was released from prison, and 50 Cent recruited Floyd’s rival, Manny Pacquiao as his new business partner.
For a while they continued to work under the TMT Promotions title, but as of now, the rapper has scrapped TMT all together, and started fresh under the new banner, SMS Promotions.
50 Cent claims Mayweather failed to honor an agreement and fund the original joint venture.
The rapper took to his Twitter page to write, “TMT IS OVER the money team is no longer a team. So it (is) SMS promotions… I’m no longer apart or down with TMT promotions… I move the fighters to SMSpromotion cause the other half of the money team .Didnt put up there $MONEY$.”
This would make a Mayweather/Pacquiao fight even more interesting, if 50 Cent were to walk Manny to the ring as he’s done for Floyd in the past, and come face to face with his former business partner in the ring.
Maybe they should fight each other!
