Sam Lutfi’s case against Britney Spears and her family has been thrown out of court by the LA judge who was presiding over the case.
Judge Suzanne Bruguera has dismissed the lawsuit, saying that there was insufficient evidence presented by Lutfi, who’s case included defimation, breach of contract, and assault.
The judge said as she announced her ruling, “I really thought long and hard. It’s the right thing to do, so I am going to do it,” according to the report from Reuters.
The case had been ongoing for the past two weeks, with the former manager claiming that Britney’s mother attacked his character over stories she published in her 2008 book, and Lutfi was also suing Britney’s father Jamie Spears for allegedly beating him up and threatening to “put him in the hospital.”
According to a report of the case on TMZ, the judge claimed that Lutfi had presented no evidence of any wrongdoing on the part of the Spears family.
Sam Lutfi plans to appeal the ruling.
