Madonna compares Britney to Africa?

Ummmm yeah, my thoughts exactly!  Even though she did her best to avoid the question in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Madonna tackled the mandatory Spears question with a new twist; By comparing the emotionally distraught pop princess to the current situation in Africa.  The Material girl, whos new album ‘Hard Candy’ is set to hit stores on April 29th, (although I hope it pulls a Mariah and leaks as early as TOMORROW! ) knew that the question was right around the corner, so she decided to throw a twist on the answer that only she could, she said; “When you think about the way people treat each other in Africa, about witchcraft and people inflicting cruelty and pain on each other, then come back here and, you know, people taking pictures of people when they’re in their homes, being taken to hospitals, or suffering, and selling them, getting energy from them, that’s a terrible infliction of cruelty. So who’s worse off? You know what I mean?”   Personally I am a big fan of Madonna, but I do not support this comparison one bit!  People in Africa who are subject to this behavior she speaks of, have no way out!  Britney Spears, who is one of the biggest names in this business, who owns multiple homes, goes on frequent shopping sprees, drives expensive cars, and sells millions of records world wide, has the opporotunity to leave Los Angeles and better herself at any time of any day!   Maybe Madonna should just adopt Britney and lock her up away from the world like she does her own kids??
