Brad Pitt promoted his new movie Quentin Tarantino flick, ‘Inglorious Basterds‘ with a recent stop on the Bill Maher show. Brad barely talked about the movie; instead, he rapped about his work in New Orleans, gay marriage, a religious-free state, and educated Bill Maher on the aesthetics behind architecture.
In turn, Bill Maher congratulated Pitt on a memory he had of the actor “rolling perfect joints.”
Some of the conversation highlights:
On religion: “I grew up in a religious family and it just doesn’t make sense to me. It doesn’t work in the long run. I started seeing a defining policy as your documentary. I say inspired by because it was a rallying cry. The freedom that allows you to practice religion is the same freedom you’re stepping on.”
On gay marriage: “You have a group of other people telling people how to live their lives. You can’t do that.”
On smoking the good stuff: “I certainly had my day. Now it turns me into a donut.”
