A little late to the game I know, but what can I say, it’s a full time job being me. I finally caught the series premiere of The CW’s The Vamipre Diaries last night, and though to the regular Edward Cullen loving blind eye it’s a blatant Twilight rip-off, it’s actually pretty good.
If anyone Twi-hard tries to give you any shit about watching the VD, just put them in their place with one simple slice of info. The Vampire Diaries books came out long before the Twilight series came out. 1991 to be exact!
If anything, Twilight author Stephanie Meyer has some splainin’ to do!
The series premiered last Thursday night to 4.8 million viewers, The biggest premiere EVER on The CW. We’ll see how the numbers hold up this week, but they’ll be fine!
