Michael Jackson built an amusement park in his backyard, but you had to be a child with parents who didn’t watch the news to get in. If you’ve always dreamed of riding on a Michael Jackson carnival ride but had the misfortune of being older than 12, there’s hope for you yet: carnivals and fairs across the nation have purchased rides from the King of Pop’s estate, the LA Times reports.
At the far end of the midway at the Tulare County Fair in the Central Valley this month, signs announced: “Michael ride here! This is one of Michael Jackson’s rides from Neverland Ranch!”
Michael ride here? Me there! And I used to think the only thing worth visiting the fair for was a Weird Al Yankovic performance.
