Bear Grylls has already been exposed as fraud for his show Man vs. Wild, but if real, this is actually wild!
On an upcoming episode, he gives himself an enema to rehydrate himself. He tells a sob story about a family who stayed alive on a life raft for 38 days because of using this method, which is the way around drinking rancid water which would trigger the gag reflex. He also urges to use it only as a last resort.
It makes sense, the method and all. But the fact that he’s probably in the shallow end of the pacific ocean being followed by a boat with a full crew makes it a little less credible. Since they have to blur out his behind, he could just be a convincing actor.
