Russell Brand may have been cleared by a judge in LA for his clash with a photographer who tried snapping a photo up his girl’s skirt, but that doesn’t mean it’s back to easy-town while traveling for the British funny man.
While arriving in New York to promote his ‘Booky Wook 2’ this week, Brand was detained by U.S. customs while they ran a check on him.
While in waiting, Russell tweeted: “Held in US immigration. Little do they know I’m singing God Save The Queen in my head.”
He had just taken an over night flight following attending the premiere of his film, ‘Despicable Me’ in Great Britain, before jetting to New York for an appearance on The Howard Stern Show.
