The Lakers aren’t the only back to back champs in Los Angeles!
For the second year in a row, Miley Cyrus has taken the title of “Worst Celebrity Influence” on an internet poll.
Cyrus topped AOL’s JSYK.com survey in 2009 as well.
It’s been a rocky year for Miley, with never ending photo leaks and being caught on film smoking Salvia from a bong.
The former Disney star beat out Lindsay Lohan at 2 and Demi Lovato at number 3 in this year’s poll.
58% of 99000 is a drop in the bucket of the Million of tweens out there in cyberworld. No kid I know of or have talked to goes to this site or was even aware of this poll, probally becuase it is a subsite of AOL which is considers a conservative adult site. Which brings to light an even bigger question, Why would a kids web site post a negative poll which encourages bashing of other people? Wouldn’t it have been better for them to post a poll asking who is the Best celebrity influence. That way when a kid faviorite celebrity didn’t make the cut, the child could reason on thier own as to why. Same goes for the celebrity, if they saw they didn’t make it, they would have to determine why and fix it. Miley is like every other teen, if you tell her not to do something, she just wants to do it more, but if you ignore it, or don’t reward her by leaving her out, it make her stop to think about why, and hopefully make appropriate changes. So if the poll had asked who is your favorite psoitive celebrity influence, Miley would have seen she didn’t make the cut and would have been more apt to change her way, but by telling her she is a bad influence, it make her more determined not to change.
Having said that, I would say the web site(s) for kids with the worst influence concerning bashing of other people on the web, would be JSYK, and AOL, with site like this one that rerun this stupid story a close second or third.
