It does sound strange, but Drew Carey is going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next month.
Carey will join other non-wrestler celebs who share a place in a special celebrity wing of the HOF including Pete Rose, Bob Uecker and William “The Refrigerator” Perry.
Carey made his WWE debut back in 2001 when he was a participant in the Royal Rumble. When he was faced with the wrestler Kane all alone in the ring, he made a quick change in his game plan and eliminated himself from the match.
Drew Carey is the current host of ‘The Price is Right,’ and has just inked a deal for a new daily sketch show to be shown on the GSN that will re-unite him with some of his comedy friends from the past. The show will be called ‘Drew Carey’s Improv-a-ganza.’
The actual wrestlers being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame prior to this year’s Wrestlemania include Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Shawn Michaels, “Bullet” Bob Armstrong, and the original WWE Diva, Sunny.
