Are your kids interested in learning about the bass and the beat?
The Black Eyed Peas are here to teach them! The ‘Peas’ will be soon opening a music school in Manhattan with the purpose of teaching local teenagers how to use music and video equipment.
Teaming up with their charitable Peapod Foundation with the Adobe Foundation, their latest venture will allow teens to learn how to use professional equipment to produce music and music videos when it opens in July.
The group already has three Youth Voice academies throughout California, and is now expanding to Manhattan.
Will. I. Am. explains, “Our passion for music and media was fuelled by many generous people on our road to success. Expanding the network of Peapod Adobe Youth Voices academies enables us to pay it forward, giving more youth the skills and encouragement they need to realize their dreams.”
