In what could be considered the college kid’s dream heist, 21,000 bottles of Dan Aykroyd’s signature Crystal Head Vodka have been stolen from a warehouse in California.
Last month more than one hundred thousands of dollars worth of the vodka were heisted from a California storage facility, and the actor is both “distressed and elated.”
In a statement to TMZ, the actor explains, “My partners and I are sorry to lose this much vodka to theft and do not condone criminal activity in any fashion, but we are happy that some consumers will be afforded the opportunity of tasting it at significantly lower than retail price. CHV can be purchased legally at bars, restaurants, and retail stores throughout North America.”
We have previously tried Aykroyd’s vodka, and it is great! But we hate to see anyone, even an actor who has money suffer this kind of a loss.
