Jay-Z has taken on a new task to coincide with the New Jersey Nets moving to Brooklyn.
The rapper-mogul, who owns a minority stake of the team will be designing the team’s new uniforms.
Jay-Z will also be announcing a series of concerts at the new home of the Nets, the Barclays Center, which will open in 2012.
Jay will be teaming up with Adidas to collaborate on the uniforms, in which they will come up with a new logo for the team, as well as home, away, and alternate designs.
With day 100 of the NFL lockout looming, they might have some extra time to come up with the design, as the NBA has already canceled 43 pre-season games for the 2011 season.
