Television injustice at it’s best.
NBC has decided to cancel “The Playboy Club” after just three episodes, while they have subsequently decided to pick up ‘Whitney’ for a full season.
After only 3.4 million viewers for Monday night’s 3rd episode of “The Playboy Club,” the network decided rather than even shipping it off to another night, that they would just cancel it all together.
The show will be replaced at the 10:00 spot by Brian Wilson’s news magazine show, “Rock Center,” starting October 31.
Whitney, which stars comedian Whitney Cummings (minus any acting talents) has been given a spot on the full 2011-2012 schedule.
It’s understandable for NBC to do this based off ratings, it just goes to show that America has zero taste in television programming.
