Lindsay Lohan’s troubled past always has a way of catching up with her.
Former Betty Ford Clinic employee Dawn Bradley accused the actress of grabbing her wrist and twisting it when she tried to administer a breathalyser test in December, 2010 while Lohan was a patient at the clinic.
Bradley launched a $1 million legal battle against the actress back in August of 2011, claiming she suffered “great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering” as a result of the alleged assault.
Served in October of last year, Lohan has now fired back at the suit, claiming she was provoked and thus acted out in self-defense.
Lohan’s attorney’s filed the paperwork at California’s Riverside Country Superior Court on January 10 and according to the report on TMZ.com, Lohan is requesting that Bradley cover her legal fees.
