Kim Kardashian claims she couldn’t attend the Met Ball in NYC this week due to business in Los Angeles, but according to a source, it was a pretty influential name in the fashion world who did not want her there.
Kardashian’s new boyfriend, Kanye West, was on hand at the gala, but it was his long time friend and co-chair of the event, Anna Wintour, who saw to it that Kim’s name was not on the guest list.

A source revealed to Radar Online of the Vogue editor, “Anna hates Kim,” adding “Why would she be invited to the event? It is all the biggest stars in the world and Kim doesn’t fit that bill at all.”
Also according to the source, Kim wasn’t even permitted to shell out the $25,000 ticket price as a way in to the event, though it was reported last week tat supermodel Kate Upton purchased her own ticket to the event.
