Another part of your childhood will be coming to a theater near you.
Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions is teaming up with Sony and Hasbro to make ‘Tonka,’ a family-friendly animated film inspired by the popular toy trucks.
A Sony spokesperson said in a statement, “In its 65 years, Tonka has become more than a toy or a brand – Tonka trucks are a rite of passage for kids all around the world. We look forward to creating a family-friendly motion picture that brings the Tonka experience to life.”
‘Tonka’ is the latest toy from your childhood that is being taken to the big screen. In addition to the likes of Transformers, and Battleship, it’s rumored that movies are being developed for Monopoly, and also Stretch Armstrong.
