Super good news for ‘Hunger Games’ fans out there. It was announced today that Mockingjay, the third book in Suzanne Collin’s ‘Hunger Games’ series, will be released as two separate movies.
A similar move to those big blockbusters before, including Twilight, and Harry Potter, Lionsgate released the two release dates for the film, with ‘Mockingjay Part 1’ set to be released November 21, 2014, and ‘Mockingjay Part 2,’ to drop one year later.
That means you’ll have three more years to enjoy this franchise, though the wait between films might be enough to make you crazy.
‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ will hit theaters on November 22, 2013, still more than a year from now!
