Britney Spears has confirmed the reports that she walked off the set of ‘The X Factor’ for the second time during the audition shows, this time during the show’s stop in Greensboro, North Carolina on Tuesday.
Spears reportedly left the set when a contestant butchered a rendition of her hit single, ‘(You Drive Me) Crazy.’
Britney has come forward to confirm the exit, though she claims she was just following the lead of fellow judge Demi Lovato.
She explains, “I was following [Demi]. I was taking her lead. She was like, ‘Let’s go!’ And I was like, ‘OK.’ It was our dinner break, anyway,” she explains. “I usually can’t look [at contestants] when they’re bad.”
Spears and Lovato weren’t the only ones to bolt, L.A. Reid also left the room during the audition, calling the singer’s performance “horrible.” He said, “The truth is he was horrific. We just couldn’t take it anymore.”
Lovato added, “I was really uncomfortable because I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, he’s on the floor crying because he thinks he’s done such a good job,'” said Lovato. “I felt so bad. I laughed at first, but then I felt bad.”
Spears also left the set during her first day on the job, after a singer mangled her hit single, “Hold It Against Me.”
Well that just shows the world once again, that Britney Spears is not cut out to be a judge or anything near one. So unpredictable and so flakey and other things as welll, that i won’t say. But we all know this broad is way too unstable to be a part of anything these days. Maybe its time she admits to herself she’s done
and needs to concentrate on being a mother and good wife. That’s if that marriage ever happens. Do us all a huge favor & Giv it up. Your days are done and gone.They have been , for a long time now. Bigger and Talented artists are here and now. Bye bye now Britney!!!!
It is true that Britney has had a ton of issues in the last few years that she has had to work extremly hard to overcome them but the one thing that holds true is she can still top the charts have one of the top grossing concerts and pretty much come out on top with anything she attempts. I don’t understand how you and so many other haters can call her a has been and too unstable for anything when she is at one of the highest points of her career. I think she knows what shes doing and is laughing at all of you all the way to the bank.
