Bosses at Disney has confirmed that Joss Whedon will return as director of ‘The Avengers’ sequel.
In addition to ‘Avengers 2,’ Whedon is also developing a live-action show for ABC that will take place within the Marvel universe.
The new movie deal is a 3-year exclusive, which possibly means that we can expect the Avengers sequel to probably hit around 2015.
‘Iron Man 3,’ ‘Thor: The Dark World,’ Captain America: The Winter Soldier,’ and ‘Gaurdians of the Galaxy’ are expected to hit theaters by 2014.
