Usher has emerged victorious in a custody battle with ex-wife Tameka Foster, after she tried her best to portray the R&B singer as an absentee dad who has more of an interest in his career.
The custody proceedings have been going on for months, but were ruled upon on Friday in a Georiga court when the judge granted Usher primary custody of sons Usher, 4, and Naviyd, 3.
Foster has been granted custodial rights, which have yet to be revealed.
A shocking decision that many did not see coming, just days after the same judge ordered the singer to reopen his ex-wife’s credit card account at Saks Fifth Avenue after clsing it last year, and to cover the cost for his ex’s nanny bills.
Usher once attempted to stall the court proceedings after the tragic death of Foster’s 11-year-old son Kile back in July, to give both parties time to recover from the tragedy, however Foster claimed that his concerns were bogus and urged the judge to carry on.
Usher and Foster were divorced back in 2009 after two years of marriage.
